Traveling Exhibitions

Currently seeking venues for Walking in Antarctica, an art exhibition based on my 2015 National Science Foundation Antarctic Artists & Writers Program residency. 33 photographs, 4 sculptures and an audio tour are available for touring, but additional components are available for inclusion, and can be adapted in collaboration with curatorial staff to the specific configurations of your site and interests of your audience. Multi-discliplinary and appealing to a broad audience, the exhibition weaves together art, science, 3D technology, and adventure to present revelatory images of places few people ever see.

Public Art & Commissions

Inquiries welcome for purchase or commission of sculptures, murals or photographic series for public or private settings. I have experience working collaboratively with commissioning organizations including the Baltimore Mural Program and Baltimore City Department of Education on site-specific permanent installations. I also can provide wall-size photographs, such as two that have been on view at Baltimore-Washington International Airport in 2017-18. See examples of my previous work in public spaces here.

Public Speaking

I've given talks about my art-science projects and artistic process in a variety of settings to students, professionals, and general audiences. Past talks include the Green Lab @ Light City Festival, the International Sculpture Center Conference in Chicago, an undergraduate interdisciplinary class on the Cultural History of Landscape Art, and to US Antarctica Program contract workers and scientists at McMurdo Station. I've been interviewed on NPR stations in connection with my Antarctica and Baltimore Ecosystem Study Projects. Contact me about talking to your class, arts group, environmental organization, or social club, or appearing on your broadcast.

Purchase Art

Photographs are offered as limited edition prints in different size ranges. All are archival pigment prints on heavy 100% rag stock. Existing sculptures are available for sale. 3D digital files of work shown on the site can also be produced at custom sizes and materials, such as cast metal, polymer-modified gypsum or glass. I would also consider creating new 3D scans of specific land forms or trees on commission. Please inquire for specific pricing information.
